PROJECT Eight page brochure with cover folder press kit for a Los Angeles drug treatment center
PROJECT Donor (left) and program (right) brochures for a Los Angeles drug treatment center
DIRECTIVE Part of an entire rebranding package. These brochures needed to combine with the press kit to allow for tailored information packets for clients, families, therapists and referral resources. The brochures reflect the modern facility and use real stories — and professional photography — to demonstrate the success of the program. Also see press kit, identity package and campaigns.
CLIENT City of Santa Monica — Office of Sustainability and The Environment
PROJECT Brochure to increase the sustainability of internal city meetings through education of best practices
DIRECTIVE To be fun, and easy to read and understand; to fit with the city of Santa Monica's current marketing style but also to be a unique piece; to have the ability to be used as a poster in meeting areas and offices. In addition to production and design, I was responsible for photo shoot concept, set up and photography.
CLIENT Environment Now
PROJECT Presentation folder for a foundation that creates measurably effective environmental programs in Southern California.
DIRECTIVE This folder was designed as a shell in order to create custom press kits. It needed to be timeless, and fully customizable, and to follow the branding style of the brochures and collateral that it would contain. Also see brochures.
CLIENT Environment Now
PROJECT Top Achievement Reports for a foundation that supports measurably effective environmental programs in Southern California
DIRECTIVE Reports needed to present data and information in an interesting and user-friendly manner for the environmental community at large. Photography subject matter needed to be indigenous and local. The design needed to function as a template for subsequent years. Also see press kit.
PROJECT Press kit for the leading manufacturer of high-performance steam irons
DIRECTIVE This kit presented information gleaned from a 14 city ironing survey using customized illustration to create graphs and charts, as well as ironing "personality" cards. The layout uses custom die cuts and fold outs to create a fun, interactive conversation starter. Also see advertising.
CLIENT Watertown Library
PROJECT Donor kit for the building of a library in Watertown, Massachusetts
DIRECTIVE This kit needed to be unique and attractive, without seeming too expensive to potential donors. Metallic ink on colored cover stock, a standard die cut, and one-color inserts kept printing costs down without sacrificing aesthetics. The illustration is the architects' rendering of the building. The project was successfully funded.
